Stealth is an upgradable skill in the game Alpha Protocol. This skill costs 6 Advancement Points per rank.


The Stealth skill reduces enemy perception and affords an agent special techniques for going unseen and unheard.


Rank Name Notes
1 Concealment (Basic) Reduces the range at which you can be spotted while moving in cover or in a crouched position. Cameras and enemies alerted to your presence are not affected. Enemy Vision Reduced by 10%.
2 Awareness (Basic) Improves your ability to sense enemy placements and positions. The basic level of this skill greatly extends the duration Mike can sense enemies and reduces the downtime between uses of the ability.

Duration: 60 seconds

Cooldown: 45 seconds

3 Silent Running (Basic) Makes all walking and running completely silent during the duration of the ability.

Duration: 10 seconds

Cooldown: 45 seconds

4 Evasion (Basic) Provides a panic button for sneaking. If an enemy is about to spot you, Evasion will activate on its own accord and give you a brief moment of invisibility.

Duration: 2 seconds

Cooldown: 300 seconds

5 Awareness (Master) At the master level, Mike no longer needs to activate this - his sense are always in a full state of alertness.
6 Shadow Operative (Basic) Allows an agent to move unseen. When activated you are invisible for the duration of the skill or until you run, fire a weapon, or throw an object. This has no effect on cameras and enemies can still hear you.

7 Silent Running (Advanced) Duration: 30 seconds

Cooldown: 45 seconds

8 Concealment (Advanced) Enemy Vision Reduced by 10% (20% Total).
9 Evasion (Advanced) Duration: 4 seconds

Cooldown: 300 seconds

10 Shadow Operative (Advanced) Duration: 12 seconds

Cooldown: 90 seconds

11 Concealment (Master) Enemy Vision Reduced by 10% (30% Total).
12 Shadow Operative (Expert) Duration: 20 seconds

Cooldown: 90 seconds

13 Silent Running (Master) Duration: 60 seconds

Cooldown: 45 seconds

14 Evasion (Master) Duration: 5 seconds

Cooldown: 180 seconds

15 Shadow Operative (Master) At the Master level you can run and remain unseen - though you still lose your invisibility if you fire a weapon, or throw an object.

Duration: 20 seconds

Cooldown: 90 seconds


  • Albatross, leader of the G22 faction, prefers a stealthy approach to missions, taking the path of least resistance.
  • Melee takedowns do not disable the invisibility gained from Shadow Operative but only takedowns, ordinarly strikes will cancel the effect. It is possible, therefore, to kill multiple enemies in plain sight and remain undetected.
  • At the master level sprinting will still remove the effect.
