The Machine Gun appears in Alpha Protocol as a mounted turret and as an NPC weapon. Turrets are found throughout the in-game world in certain locations, helping Michael Thorton eliminate oncoming threats should he be forced to do so. The machine gun turrets are fully automatic, heating up after the ejection of many rounds and requiring some time to cool down.

The machine gun found in Alpha Protocol is based on the real life automatic machine gun, the M60.
