Mike can wear a number of different styles of headgear that do not effect his stats in-game in any way. This includes: a camo hat, baseball cap (both of which can be worn backwards), swamp hat, beret, beanie and hooligan cap.
Once in Moscow you may also choose an ushanka.
Like Thorton's clothes, the colour of the hat will change depending which city you are in.
